Anastasija Butina

I am a clothes designer, costume maker, and creative stylist with over 15 years of hands-on international experience. My work spans custom garment production, costume design for dance and theater, event and photo zone styling, and apparel brand development.

I began my career in Riga, Latvia, working with leading local brands before building my own independent practice. In 2015, I co-founded Hippy Sister— a women's clothing brand built around one conviction: women already know what they want to wear. They just need someone who can make it.

Since 2020, I have been based between Puebla, Mexico and Florida, USA, expanding my practice to include small-batch manufacturer collaboration, photo zone studio ownership, and personalized styling consultation for US-based clients and beyond.

The clients I work best with are people who value craft and collaboration — private individuals wanting a garment made specifically for them, performers and production teams who need their wardrobe to carry a story, photographers and creative directors who treat styling as part of the image rather than an afterthought, and independent brands taking their first steps from concept to production.
