Process
How we
work together
Every project — regardless of size or service type — follows the same five-stage framework. It exists to make the process transparent, protect your investment, and ensure the final result matches the original vision.
Initial Inquiry
Submit your project brief using the contact form or by email. The more detail you share — dates, scope, references, and any specific requirements — the better I can assess scope and timeline. I respond to all inquiries within 24–48 hours.
No commitment required at this stage. I'll let you know if the project is a good fit before we go further.
Consultation & Creative Direction
We meet — in person or remotely — to discuss your vision, goals, timeline, and any constraints. For garment and costume projects this includes taking or reviewing measurements. For styling and event work, we establish the creative brief and agree on an aesthetic direction.
A detailed brief is produced and shared after the consultation. Nothing moves to production until we're both aligned.
Design, Creation & Sourcing
Depending on the service, this stage includes design sketching, pattern development, fabric or material sourcing, construction, and production coordination. You receive updates and approve at key milestones — design concepts, fabric selections, and progress fittings — before the next stage begins.
Approval gates are built into every project. You are never surprised by a decision made without your input.
Fittings, Review & Refinement
For garment and costume projects, we schedule one or more fitting sessions. For styling and production work, review points are agreed upfront. Adjustments are made at each stage until the work is exactly right. I do not move to final delivery until both parties are satisfied.
The number of fittings depends on the complexity of the project and is agreed in advance.
Delivery & Aftercare
The finished piece or deliverable is handed over with full care instructions, handling notes, and any relevant documentation. For garment projects, spare materials and a care kit are included where possible. I remain available after delivery for any follow-up questions.
For styling projects, returns and post-shoot logistics are coordinated as part of the final stage.
